Ray Savoy

Teaching Professional, USGTF

Ray has been with the GolfDC Academy since 1994 as an instructor at Langston Golf Course, but he recently started teaching at East Potomac as well.  Ray began playing golf in 1967 and will be inducted into the USGTF Hall of Fame in October of this year.

Mark House

Teaching Professional, USGTF

Mark has been a golfer for 16 years. He began his golf career with Golf Course Specialists in 2005 at East Potomac Golf Course. He began coaching as a volunteer with The First Tee of Greater Washington in 2006 at East Potomac. In 2008 he obtained his USGTF certification and became an instructor with The First Tee. In 2013, Mark joined the professional staff at Langston Golf Course. He continued his work with The First Tee of Greater Washington, while also teaching for the GolfDC Academy at Langston. Mark has a passion for getting new golfers into the game and enjoys teaching players of all levels and ages.

Ernie Andrews

Teaching Professional, USGTF

Ernie has played competitive golf for 38 years at the junior, collegiate, and professional levels. He joined the GolfDC Academy team in 2000.  He made it to the second stage of the US Open qualifier paired with Jum Furyk and Tom Byrum. He has multiple tournament wins, including the Capital City Open. He has caddied for tour professionals including Jim Thorpe, and has been a professional club maker for 21 years. Ernie is the Director of the Mason's Army youth golf program
